Hiya Guy's .
I generally go by the rule "friends don't let friends use Tasco ", and I've never been tactikool nor did I get on board with holographic sights. Well, with that being said I just picked up a Tasco propoint Plus 1_11x45 illuminated red dot. A guy that I've done a bit of gun trading with hit me up because he was interested in the Vintage World War II 1911 grips that I had, for his new original GI mil-spec Auto-Ordnance 45 he picked up.
The grips were $100 at Sam's Locker in Boise, but I got them as a bonus with the Llama Max 1 45 I picked up recently. Anyway, this is an older model red dot that he bought new for $200 awhile back, put it in his safe and never got around to using it, so, it's still new in the box . I ended up trading him my 1911 grips, a 1911 magazine and a box of 9mm shells for it.
Anyway this thing is all aluminum and it looks a lot nicer than the newer plastic holographic sights that I've seen a lot of guys around here using, so I thought I'd ask y'all about it. Anybody used or still have one of these ?.
