I bought the weapon for my wife about a year ago. Initially shot well. Had a couple FTFeed issues at first nothing to bad. Then came the next 1000 rounds. She started having FTEx issues, cleaned the gun change ammo, same result. The FTFeed issue grew much worse and the FTEx issues grew markedly worse. She love the gun shoots it well when it works. Called Taurus they said send in the weapon. We did this once, took 3 months to get it back, and still did the same thing. Doing research I'm finding mag issues. And extractor issues. Are there "aftermarket" parts for this thing.

I have the same weapon, The problem is with the springs of the magazine, and the extractor. For the magazines, (and its not just taurus, lots of companies just use cheap quality springs.) rotate them often, tear them down, restreatch the existing spring, slightly. Check the follower, against the bolt hold open as a gauge, you can see when it starts to sag some, or fail to lock the action open. As to the extractor spring, I went thru a pile of old springs, till i found one that was identical, and replaced it, problem solved.
Many springs are universal for lots of applications you should be able to find/make, a quality replacement. Taurus doesn't make their own springs, they buy them from other companies, as do many other gun makers. These problems vary with gun company, and gun model, depending on the lot the manufacturer buys from the spring companies.
