I picked up one of these last Spring and have used it as a training gun for semi-automatic pistols, notably Glocks. But I think they get the basics down on any striker fired pistol. Magazine loads the same, sight picture and trigger control the same, and it helps with that annoying "yank" that develops when starting a person with the BANG! of a 9MM, .40, or .45.. With ear protection the .22 just gives a crack. On another note the TX 22 has malfunctioned once with a .22 CCI HP in about 2000 rounds of CCI and Remington Golden Bullet. .
