Taurus's new revolvers

I wonder if this one is gonna require moonclips to shoot. Moonclips are nice, but I don't want them being a REQUIREMENT like with the (unfortunately hammerless only) S&W 940 9mm's. I hope the Ti's are like the Ruger SP-101's in that you can use moonclips, but it will still fire without them.

And get rid of the porting Taurus!!! :(

just went to the Taurus site to check out the 9mm stainless snubby.

it said: grooves 0, as in zero. gives a twist rate, just no grooves. this must be a misprint. no rifling? a smoothbore?
maybe i'm just not reading correctly.

i have a little 8l7 stainless snubby seven shot ultralight with porting. it has rifling, however shallow. have just popped the cyl and looked down the bore with a light to verify this.

hope they expand this line of 9mm to include a 4" with no porting. whatta plinker. and, can plink cheap 9's for what i can reload .38's.

I think I'm gonna give Taurus a call as soon as I remember too and ask them about the availability of non-ported titanium and 4" titanium 9mm's.
