Tell me about your S&W1911PD!

Well,

I finally picked up the 1911PD today. I'm the 3rd owner. First guy never shot it; second guy put 50 rds through it and traded it.

Hoping 3rd time is a charm. Got it for $650 and it doesn't have a mark on it yet!

Nice trigger eventhough it isn't as light as my '70 series, but it's tighter, and has a good beaver tail (my Colt bites the hand that feeds it).

Great looking gun!

Me thinks the guide rod may have to go though!

The trigger was a bit heavy on my 1911Sc. I put a 21# Wolff spring in and it's much better. Love the gun.

I'll keep that in mind. It feels crisp though so I don't anticipate a proble. I like 'em a little heavier on a non target pistol. My Colt is a little scary!
