[Travis McGee]

Travis McGee was the fictional creation of mystery author John D. McDonald. He wrote about 20 Travis McGee novels. McGee lived on a houseboat in Fort Lauderdale about a half mile from where I lived on a 35 foot sailboat with my beautiful young bride in the 80s. McGee was not a prig about guns. If bad guys needed shooting instead of just a beating, he shot them.

 

[Loach]

A Loach is a type of freshwater tropical fish. There are many species, but by nature, they are:

- Secretive. They often hide when the tank lights are on.
- Gregarious. They love to play with other loaches.
- Playful. When they're not hiding, they chase each other and seem to have a grand time.
- Adventurous. They often decide to explore the outside world and leave the confines of the tank in dramatic fashion.
- Kinda ugly.
