Saturday me and my dad went to go shoot our rifles to try out some new handloads (6.5 CM). My dads rifle found a load it liked that was about 7/8 moa. I found one with my gun that was about 1 moa, and I thought, hey with some fine tuning this good be a pretty accurate load. We were on a time crunch and I had 12 rounds left to shoot, (4, 3 shot groups). I shot the 2nd group and on the 2nd shot I couldnt tell where it hit, so I assumed a few inches off the paper. The 3rd shot however was right next to the 1st. We drove up to the target to look, and saw a 3/8" center to center group. Out of a $3000 precision rifle, that would be expected, but out of a $650 savage with a 20" pencil barrel, WOW. I'm hoping this group can be recreated, but haven't had the chance yet. The squares in the picture are 1".
