    My Singaporean friend has not read the books:

    1984
    Brave New World

    I don't think these books are available here in Singapore (Gee, I wonder why??!!! NOT!!)

    Would someone be willing to offer to buy these two books and send it to her??

    Be sure that you are not importing some banned material.

    Good thinking Ed. Not worried about myself but would hate to see the recipient in hot water.

    I will have her read it... Thanks, I knew you guys would come through for me.

    BTW, she thinks the Walther PPK's in stainless look pretty cool; she said she wouldn't mind owning one...

    Anybody who likes PPK's is a friend of mine!

    She says thanks...

    Had a stainless PPK .380. Didn't know any ladies who could rack the slide. Beautiful gun, though.

    Between you and Skunk, I think you are going to convert more ladies to enjoying guns than anyone since Col. Fairbairn. You two wouldn't be in competition, would you?:D

    I went to 6 bookstores today;

    In case you are wondering; the book the migrating patterns of bullfrogs IS in the bookstore...

    But 1984 and Brave New World is not a book that can be found in Singapore. Banned? Would it surprise any of you if it was??

    They'd ban breathing; except they are first working on ways to tax it..
