PottyDoctor,
I also use the Eagle SS grips on my 642 and love them for the control and concealibility (?) they provide. I may stay with the stock UM boots on my new 642 just because I've found the HKS speedloaders I prefer work with the UM but not the Eagles. As for the Pach compac professionals... I have used them before on several guns and really like the way they feel. They are indeed less "sticky" than the Hogues and offer good control. Until the new UM's, these pachs were my favorite rubber grips available.
And to the rest of you... I just ordered a Mika round-cut holster to supplement my Galco pocket since I have way more J-frames than holsters. Also ordered a Blackhawk Askins (http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum4127.php) from Cops Plus for my 640 when I wish to go OWB. Ya'll are costing me money!!!
