I'd still argue it should be biased toward saying too little rather than too much.

In this scenario anyone with a badge who wants me to yap about what I carry and when and how and why isn't going to get much of anything from me aside from the basics.
They're not your friends. Don't tell them things you wouldn't want used against you in court or when one gets paid by TMZ to leak it for the internetz. And don't be naive enough to believe it can't or won't be used against you somehow.
I carry the same thing, all the time, because there is no "good" neighborhood, and there are no "safe" places. I understand there are people who like to play musical carry weapons and bring something different every day. I don't.
 
How would they know what size your regular gun is?
This what I caught.

If you go to the bad area and are involve in a shooting in which you had more than what you normally carry.

At what point would they find that out? I certainly wouldn't tell them that I do so. It's not relative to the situation and they shouldn't be any the wiser.
