Okay, here is my S&W Mod. 36. I paid almost nothing for it and it is tight! It sits right next to my bed in the nightstand!

My offering is certainly not the best looking revolver in this thread (my vote goes to tipoc!), but of the revolvers that I own, it's the one that pleases my eye the most.

Baphomet,

Those are two great looking revolvers.

I can understand VGs envy. Very, very nice.

You guys have some great guns and photo skills.....We should all vote on the pictures submitted.

.......I know some of you have seen this, but here it is again. I took this in my back yard. I took about 10 of them, and this one turned out the best. You can see some more gun pics here:

Beautiful pics! But some of these look like garage queens!!!!!!!!

Go to the range, and SHOOT them!

This is my fifth DW .357, and my first SS one, I stupidly sold the others. Shoots great and only had one tiny scratch on the barrel.

Revolvers in the joint.

Best looking revolvers in the joint? I worked in several joints over the past 22+ years and all of the revolvers were 3" heavy Bbl Model 10s. :-D The hostage response team had a few 586s and a 45S&W (toys to please the boys)and the transport, escort guys got Glocks a few years ago. There was one shiny one, a Ruger GP100, which was thrown over the fence of one of the jails one night, but dropped short and landed on a noisy tin roof (whoops!). The Smiiths are no better than the Rugers or others, but they have the style and the balance just so! This is my old 586, been hammered continually since 1987 when I bought it second hand and well worn. Did not carry this one, but used it to represent the Dept many times.

They gotta be the winners. Of course, the old Colts are similar in that they are pure poetry in motion.

lots of nice guns. I still like the dan wesson .357 with the 8" barrel, as I have one and find it a dream to shoot, very accurate;) ;)

Here's the only DA revolver I own. Picked it up today from a gunshop in Springfield, OH as part of a package deal. Would someone please tell me what model this is? Never owned a Smith before, and is there a site where I can look up the serial to see what year it was made? Seems to be ok mechanically, just ugly.

All are cool!

All the weapons have their own"coolness" about them. I just picked up and shot my new Taurus 44C 44 mg with a 2,(or is it a 2 and 1/2" barrel), ported. Looks sharp and is dead nuts accurate with 44 special silvertips or full power loads.

Also bought a pristine taurus model 85 SS snubby ,five rounds fired through it for $200 from a brother fireman who didn't want any more, (getting married/needed money, etc) told him it was worth more and would gladly pay the diff, but he said a deal is a deal, (Much happiness and a Budha like smile on me).

I still would like to buy a model 29 and SW 22mg snubby, sigh!

Course picked up a colt agent for $250 recently tiny spot of rust but will give it some TLC. Would also love any of Colt's "snake" guns Anaconda, Pythons, Diamond backs. Oh My!!!

I forgot this little sweetie!

:D Colt Police Positive, 38 Smith and Wesson. First owned by Broken Hill Proprietary Limited (the biggest mining company in Aussie history. Used to guard the gold shipments, then sold off to the Commonwealth Bank used by them for many years before the bank got all touchy and feely and the tellers stopped using guns. Finally it ended up being used on a daily basis by an armoured car company doing sterling service until a few years ago when they were all dumped at a gun shop. Didn't pay much for it, it's not my fanciest gun by any stretch of the imagination, but I kinda like it. I will get a nice mould for it and plink with it occasionally. Like me, it deserves a good retirement. Mick.

I picked up the old Redfield the same day. It will end up on a nice 70A winchester in 22/250 and will see a lot of hills and a lot of spotlit paddocks.
