Here's my CZs, an 85 Combat & a 97B.

Bought mine used sight unseen. Never had a chance to try one but got it just from the reviews and specifications. Mine had trigger work by CZ gunsmith Mike Eagleshield and a fiber optic front sight. People tell me it's pretty sweet.

Here's a target from my first day shooting it. (25 yds supported with WWB) Each ring is 1" (yes one winger, sorry, it can shoot better I can't)


In July I tried IDPA with it. My first gun competition of any sort and I came in second in my division. Not too shabby all in all.

I also got the Kadet kit for it but for some reason I shoot 9mm better, go figure. So I mounted a rail on it and a dot site, it's a little better now, lol. I think I just need to try different ammo.

Plus I demonstrate and RSO for a CCW class once a month, that's at least 50 rds. Never any troubles whether its clean or not. And even taking experience into account, its one of the more accurate pistols that I see.

I also carry it as my ccw in a Comp Tac CTAC Holster, no problems with the size or weight, though I did modify the angle on the holster some. I think I'll get some laser grips for it eventually.

I'm certainly a fan and would like an SP 01 someday, with bayonet of course!

Brand New Member - CZ Club

A quick trip to the gun show last sunday netted me one of these:

A pleasure to shoot. Already has 550 rounds through it in the last week.

Thought I would jump since I am CZ'er myself. Picture is of my beloved Pre-B 75. This particular pistols action feels like a slicked and tuned S&W revolver, no kidding. It is stock. The SA trigger pull has a moderate amount of creep, but it is smooooth. After getting a feel for the pistol, I shot this group using the pistol rug as rest for the butt of the grip and squeezed off this group of 10 rounds at 7 yards (21'). I am looking for a New or LNIB SP-01 right now, know where one is?

My SP-01 had the decockers right and left. it's as accurate as my champion in 9mm. I've got the 85 combat also. these are the greatest guns on the market. My wife had the CZ75D's. And there are a few others .

Rami Slide Stop Problem

Hi,

After such good luck with my 75b that I bought a few months ago, I decided to purchase a CZ 2075 Rami in 9mm. Problem is that the slide stop is a beast to push down. Rack the slide and you'd better have some very calloused thumbs, a rag, or another magazine bottom to push it down.

Any ideas what's going on here?

The last few gun shows I've been to had VERY few CZ's. Seems the tables are just not trying to sell them as much as other brands. I hope things will change...if I keep asking for them.

Well, I will be joining the club soon. I ordered a CZ 75 B today for $425. The LGS I ordered from said that their distributor was clearing them out. I don't know if that's a good price for one but it seemed fair to me. I have never shot one before but I thought that I would give it a go. I held one before and the reach to the trigger seemed a little long for my short fingers but I have read such good things about them that I wanted to compare it to my XD which I like very much.

Bear2000: The slide stops on all seven of my CZ's are hard to remove, although some have loosened a bit with time. I tap them out with the butt of a plastic screwdriver, and a couple now will go with thumb pressure applied to a wadded cloth or piece of leather. The Rami's the stiffest of the bunch, but it doesn't bother me since I don't take down guns in the field.

My CZ 75 B came in today, so, I'll be picking it up tomorrow afternoon. I stopped by my LGS today to see if they had ordered it for me and lo and behold it was already there. Is this model being discontinued? The only reason I ask is because the guy who ordered it for me said that they were being cleared out by their distributor. If they are I may have to order another one

Great club!!

I'd imagine I'm only qualified to be a probie member...as I was foolish enough to sell my 85B to my brother in law. One of the best handguns I have ever shot. I put thousands of rounds through it, shot an LFI course with it, and taught my wife to shoot on it.

Never should have sold it...though it is in good hands...and I take comfort in knowing that I am "spreading the CZ love" as it were.

I look forward to replacing that 85B one day soon.

Deer hunter, remember that a suppressor is an NFA controlled item. Suppressors are available, just look around for a legitimate dealer therof, and fill out the paperwork - BATFE local office will give you the forms. I don't know if a threaded barrel is avilable for a CZ97, though.

I know I can get a suppressor, but I was wondering who could make the barrel for it. It would have to be a longer barrel, as well as it being threaded.

Used CZ's in Northwest Washington State

Was in DJ's in Bothell yesterday and they had two nice used CZ's: a 2075 RAMI for $385 and a SP-01 for $325. I already have an SP-01 otherwise I would have been interested.
