Hey guys lets start a Glock Club like others have on THR.

I own G19, G26 and looking for a G18 while also convincing myself that I should trade in something and get G21.

I have many handguns and weapons in general. But so far I like Glock the best. I have started carrying one in chamber in my G. I really appreciate the internal safety and trigger mechanism.

If you have thoughts, opinions or interesting picture please post.

I started this thread because I am absolutely tired of putting Glock down on other threads. They ask you fo opinion and before you know everyone is jumping on Glock bashing train.

Lets keep this thread live with new information posted everyday.

We can discuss G porblems, techniques, etc.

Thanks.

Have a secind gen Glock 22

Prefer the second gen myself. Do not like the rails .

THR is about the only place to discuss Glock issues online and not become involved in some infantile, ridiculous discussion, so I'm in on this one.

I own two Glocks: a G19 and a G23. Bought the G19 back in 1994 and it's probably my second favorite pistol I've ever owned. Bought the G23 last summer and I just can't fall in love with it, no matter how hard I try.

I, too, prefer the second generation Glocks. No rails, no finger grooves, no thumb rests. Original design seems to be my flavor.

Thank you, firepower, for starting this thread!

Im a proud glock club member but I feel the need to branch out a little.

For Variety s sake, my small collection glock 21 SF , Glock 30 and Glock 20 , Im going to go out on a limb one day and get something other than a glock maybe another 1911 or a sig , HK etc., I sold my last 1911 Like a dummy :banghead: , nothing was wrong with it, just wanted something new. but Im just comfortable with glock , cant explain it , Im a simple man , I guess

I first bought a G23 years ago as a carry gun. I really liked it and never had any issues or problems with it. Unfortunately, I ran into some money issue about 5 years ago and had to sell it.

I still managed to keep most of my gun collection, but the glock would be the easiest to replace. Most of my guns came from my Uncle, both grandfathers, and my father.

About 2 years ago, I bought a G36. Really loved the gun, but decided I wanted more capacity in a glock .45. I ended up trading the 36 for a very good condition gen3 30 w/ no rails. That is now my everyday carry gun (w/ 2 extra mags). I also bought another G23 for my wife's carry gun. After all, I still had several holsters, and 2 mags leftover from the my first 23. So to sum it up, I currently own a 23 and a 30. I previously owned and sold a 23, and a 36. I'm not necessarily a "Glock is the be all, end all" type of person, but I do like them very much. I will probably own more of them in the future.

BTW, My father and I also own a large variety of autoloaders and revolvers. Everything from old Colt .22s from one grandfather to a slew of both Colt, and S&W revolvers, as well as S&W, H&K, and 3 highly customized 1911s in .38 Super that we used to compete in IPSC up until about 10 years ago. 2 of the 1911s are colt based, single stacked, with all the mods you can imagine. One is set up for Limited, and the other in an unlimited "racegun". We also have a .38 super 1911 that's be altered to hold a double stack. It's also for the unlimited class with comp, red dot optics, etc.

Anyway, the idea is someone doesn't have to just like one type of handgun, or any gun for that matter.

I love my Glocks, just like I love almost any gun. They are special :)

I had to sell a G19 Homeland Defender about a year ago, because I needed some quick cash. I've regretted selling it ever since. I did purchase a new G19 in January, and have customized just like the G19 homeland defender. All I need now is the extended mag catch. Departing with that G19 Homeland Defender was a terrible feeling.

I've got 2 G19's now one Gen2 and a Gen3. I am considering a G26 and a G36 in the near future.

I bought a G-19 in he beginning of December last year. Since then I have put about 1000 rounds through it. I really enjoy shooting it. My wife has a G-26 she bought at about the same time, she loves to shoot (and is a lot better than me). She recently purchased a G-34 and now she realy outdoes me on the range.

Deleted. Adds nothing to the thread's purpose.

PhillyGlocker: I was wondering about that! And as soon as I saw the pic my mind formulated the question but it was immediately answered!

Again like I said before great pic.. and lucky owner.

Any thoughts on Glock 21. I got one but some one told me that a newer 21 is coming out which is better?
