lwaldron, sorry that you don't seem to understand peep sights. Maybe the instruction course at Parris Island would help. I'm sure they would help you to figure out what you're doing wrong.
Guns are tools and if you don't know how to use it, then ask. Don't blame the tool itself. Maybe you should have considered it was operator error before declaring a gun that's been used sucessfully for over half a century by millions of shooters.

Dominant Eye
Now that it was mentioned, I had a new shooter on the line last Fall, my wife's friend. Well, she couldn't hit paper at 50yds with a scoped rifle.
I told her to try her left eye, a bit awkward. That was it, in the black!
She's right-handed, but left eye dominant!
