Balog did you mean a volley pistol ?

I'm not sure. The handgun I'm thinking of was a DA-only striker fired gun. Some (all?) models had a trigger extension similar to what you see on some paintball guns. IIRC it also had no "rifling" but had a slightly oval bore than twisted and served the same purpose.

Balog, sorry check the previous page again, I managed to add the picture this time :)

QuarterBoreGunner (I wish I could stop typing spaces in that :) ) Don't beat yourself up I mix up authors all the time, I just happen to have a copy on the shelf beside me :) Followed the link, ice seems out but a meat bullet now there is an interesting idea :D

GM7RQK: nope, that's not it. The one I'm thinking of used cartridges, had an internal hammer, and had the barrels arranged like a pair of SxS barrels stacked on top of each other.

OK Balog, I can picture what your describing, a layout like the pepperpot

or the COP derringer, but with an internal hammer, you've got me there I can't say as I've seen that, sounds interesting though.

If anyone has a picture there's at least two of us interested :)

Yes, that's the exact layout I was describing. The pistol I'm thinking of was advertised as being perfect for backup on safari, and was quite powerful for the time period. It was popular at about the same time as the "Paradox" choke for shotties.

Hmm all the tranter pistols I knew off were revolvers allthough I did find mention of an over\under 2 barrel pistol so it's not out of the question.

But as I type this ......

OK just seen the lancaster you posted, yes that was pretty much the picture I had in mind, .476 cal, must have been quite a beast to hold onto with those little grips :)

Another mystery solved by the Internet ;)

Cheers. Stephen.

One of those BFGs used by the exterminators in Critters.

On the more practical side, I've always wanted Marlin to issue their camp carbine in 10mm.

I almost bought a Street Sweeper in .45-70. I wish I had, now, just for the sheer rarity.

I still want a Pennsylvania Long Rifle.

I have always wanted one of those 15 shot 9mm service revolvers they
are always talking about on the news. I think they are made by Glock&Wesson.

Addenda to my earlier post: I'd also like a 20-shot revolver.
