I applied for my gun permit in sc with sled . I waited over 90 days just to hear I was denied. They sent me a false crime record I did not commit . And apologized for sending a letter of denial . And told me there was a new person who made this mistake. Now it's almost impossible to get a hold of sled to send a new appeal.can anyone help me on how to deal with sled? Is there a lawyer I can hire? Has anyone delt with slen with issues and has received help?where can I turn to to help clear my name with sled. Seems like they have an exuse for not taken care of this matter. Ifs frustrating . I live in SC

For those not familiar, SLED is the State Law Enforcement Division. Have you called (803) 896-7015 ?
