The Sheer Joy of MOUSE GUNS....

I've an NAA 22 S and 22LR/Mag mice. I've wanted a Sharp 4 barrel - I saw once that Iver Johnson is back in business and may make them again but if you go to their site, my browser throws up a wave of security alerts.

I also have a hankering for the 25 ACP Colts or clones thereof -

All for fun and collecting

I don't have a mouse gun, but I have to ask -

I know a gun shop that has a "Browning Baby", I think it was, in .25 auto, for $324.95. Is that a decent gun for a decent price?

Looks like an oldie, and I'm thinking collector value/cool factor only. I know the .25 is useless, and I have 5 1911's in .45acp, a .380, and a 9x18mak for the serious stuff.

Here's another NAA Guardian 380, when I'm not wearing the 40, I take this....(it's seen a lot of carry time)
Triple K holster.
It's a little monster to shoot, but shoots better with each box it eats....never a ftf yet, tons of ammo....
I have to hand it to NAA and the quality of the gun. Mine is a Kahr frame

Hi! Could you (or anyone reading) explain what you mean by "Mine is a Kahr frame"?

I know it's not the source of all information good and holy, but Wikipedia lists neither company on the respective entry for the other, and I'm not up on gun-company in-trading or in-breeding; does Kahr make all or some of the current NAA products? I realize they bought Auto-Ordnance; is there a connection that way?

Thanks for insight!

I thought the thread would be about guns that were fast enough and accurate enough to hit a running mouse.

We may need a new gun category.

Can anyone here hit a running mouse (right after the lights are turned on) with one of their pipsqueak pistols?

I usually use a C02 gun for those critters. OTOH, we got lots of mice around here...

NAA had a contract with Kahr to produce the the frame for the Guardian line, and the frames had a Kahr stamp. NAA attempted to do their own CNC production but have not been able to do so and as of now another company, Latva, produces the NAA Guardian frames. This is why production ceased on these guns for several months last year.

This is confusing: are they "mouseguns" or "pipsqueak pistols"? I prefer the term; "underrated and under appreciated hand guns". ;)
I have pinned a running mouse to the ground with a throwing knife. A fluke lucky throw which impressed the hell out of the guy who was helping me move the cabinet the mouse jumped out of.

But hey, here are some of my mouseguns:

I get a lot of grief for carrying a NAA 32 Guardian as my CCW summer gun. What most of my friends don't understand is that most BG's just don't want to get shot! They will just run away.:D

True, it won't stop the drugged up crack head, but usually you have to remove their head from their shoulders to stop them. :neener:

But really, 99.95% (and yes I just made that statistic up) of people will run away if you point any type of gun at them. Point a NNA 22LR at me, and I guarantee that I will be running at top speed.

Besides, there are not that many crack heads in my neighborhood.

The joy of mouse guns

I still have my "Mouse Guns" or at least what I consider mouse guns or pocket guns and all are 380 auto's.
Ruger LCP, Colt Pony Pocketlite and Cold Gov MKIV series 80 380 acp auto and actually the little Colt Gov is a little heavy for a comfortable front pocket carry IMO. Like so many of you I love these little pistols and can't wait for the new Sig 380. Shot the new Kahr mouse gun last week and didn't care for it. Wasn't near as smooth and soft shooting as the LCP or Colts.

i own a pair unfortunatly i have no pics but i have a raven arms p25 and a reck p8 i have carried both but i prefer the reck because its a higher capasity of 8 (instead of the ravens 6) and its blued so it doesnt shine so much when i CCW
im a pizza delivery guy part time so i always carry because a mouse gun is better than no gun

nah not the only one both were my mothers when her arthritus (sp) got too much to rack the slides they became mine i love the reck p8 something about it just makes me smile

I just got my first mousegun: a Kel-Tec P32. I don't have any pictures, but if you've seen one black-and-blued Kel-Tec, you've seen them all. ;)

I too own a Reck P8. I was wondering where we all were.

It is a nice gun, but it desperately needs a new recoil spring. The Reck is definitely not the easiest gun to find parts for. Anyone have any suggestions?
