Cooper Montana Varminter in 223 AI. Leupold VX-3 with varmint hunters reticle. Good for 500 yards but the little 40 grain Blitzkings really start to lose energy that far out. MV is 3800 fps.

I have another almost identical Cooper but in 243 AI for the longer shots. I should take a pic.

In fact, my pickups license plate is reflective of those two rifles also.

Is that THS a Savage? I have a Savage 11 THS light hunter in 243 that will place 4 shots in 4/16 of a in at 100 yards.

4/4=1
16/4=4

1/4 :)

Im sure it was a typo. & who am I to correct. I can barely spell my own name.

My Savage 12 BVSS in 22-250, an honest 1/4 inch 100 yard gun with BVAC 55 grain V-Max ammo.

My favorite varmint gun, Remington 700 action barreled to 22 CHeetah Mk1, El Paso Weaver T-10 scope, rifle was stocked by Mike Cross

A much better shot of the Model 320

The old picture was from when I first got it, here it is after some serious work with Hoppes #9. (taken down by the the Missouri River, today, after about 700 rounds).

Took the scope off because its busted and the irons are really user friendly anyway.

I have a couple others, but this one is quickly becoming the go-to for poppin' varmints:

All we have around here is crows, but this Sako .222 Mag does the job. I recently replaced the old 6X18 Redfield Golden 5 Star scope with a 6.5X20 Vortex Viper.

Ruger M77 Varmint .220 Swift with Nikon Monarch 6.5-20x 44mm and Remington 700 LVSF .17 Rem. with Weaver V-16 UFCH 4-16x 42mm. Both will shoot better than 3/4 MOA at 200 yards under field conditions (Bipod, sitting with elbows on knees). Most of the areas I shoot varmints aren't conducive to prone with the tall grass, which is why they both sport longer bipods than most use on varmint guns.

Got a few varmint rigs but this one is my favorite! R700 VS 22-250, Leupold VarixIII 6.5-20x50, nice 1" groups at 300yrds 3" low from my 200yrd zero....
