Thinking of buying a used Beretta 92FS

I stayed out of this until now because I thought this was aweful close to another thread - but appears to be a little different.

In short - Beretta 92's rock. I have 8 of them. Even went shooting with one yesterday. Everytime I go, I have a smile on my face. The gun balances so well in a 1 handed grip when paired with Hogue grip panels (not the wrap around kind - just the panels)

But, that's too much $$ for a used one IMHO...

I see brand new ones all day long at Houston gun shows for $499 new. Admittedly, at most gun stores, they are $550-$575. But, I'd just buy a new one if I were you....

Awesome, just awesome. You guys have put together a great thread of advice ... I thank you for sharing your experience and opinions. I will definitely drop a note in here to let y'all know here I ended up (Buy this one, buy new, buy the Taurus, get the Bersa UC9 I was thinking about before I went into the pawnshop, etc.).
