Last week I felt the urge to shoot some bp and found that I had about 30 total caps left. nobody in town sells precussion caps so, I decided to go down to academy in el paso(since their phone line wasn't working) and stock up. I didn't see any right off the bat so I asked one of the workers and got the response- "Yeah so may people use 209 primers now that nobody really carries them anymore".
My homemade caps slightly work in my revolver, so I starded thinking about how to convert my bp guns to 209 ignition. I know they sell a conversion kit but how hard could it be to machine a 209 nipple out of a bolt or something? Has anyone done it for a revolver?
