Is zundfolge's modification too subtle? I like it too.

Another option could be to replace the entire house with another one that has larger windows (and with less severe reflections)... then you could have all sorts of things inside... a mantlepiece with a garand, several family members keeping watch out of various windows...

I'd love to see a three frame picture with three dates about a year apart marked on it. The first frame shows a happy family in their yard in front of their home, the second frame would show a wrecking screw demolishing the home while police escort the family away, the third frame would show a small group of people in business suits holding brief cases walking out of some corporate headquarters as seen through a rifle scope.

Why is it morally okay to defend yourself from a mugger, rapist, or home invader with lethal force, but not someone that is doing the same thing while operating under the color of law? I think we all agree that if the state tries to murder innocent people they are allowed to defend themselves, so why not violent theft?

To anyone who says that eminent domain is not violent, why do most people eventually settle or leave? It is not because they treat all laws and court decisions as scripture regardless of any other factors, it is because they know eventually they will loose the standoff and that they have no other choice.
