I saw a Chiappa Sharps carbine at a LGS last week. Advertised as a blem so the price was $988, I think.Fit and finish looked really nice. Also, Chiappa makes the only reproduction Spencer carbine out there and it is pricey, about $2000. I think they also make a '92. I know they aren't Pedersoli quality but are they worth buying in lieu of a more expensive Pedersoli or Uberti?
Not in the market for another Sharps right now, but if the price and quality are right... well.

If you want a new, true, 1892 lever gun, Chiappa is your only choice. I bought one in 45 Colt takedown a few years ago. Color case hardened with 20” octagon barrel. Shown below with some 45 Colt pistols.

Was about the same price as a new Winchester 1892 with tang safety or a Marlin 1894 and a little more than a Henry big bore.

I bought the Chiappa because I shoot 335 grain cast bullets and the Chiappa has 1 in 16” rifling. Also, the wood, fit and finish was better than all others. Awesomely accurate.

I’ve seen used Chiappa Spencer’s on gun broke with actual photos. Beautiful guns! Chiappa makes quality reproductions, in my opinion.
