Not answering for Fingers but it is easy to tell a 44 from a 36 by looking at the profile of the cylinder. The 44's are rebated and the 36's are straight. Have fun with your brass framed revolver.

You are correct strawhat. It is easy to tell the difference on a Colt. The rebated cylinder will give it away every time.

Dellbert, Here are a few of my shooters:

And a few more:

Hey Capt Kirk, that background material sure looks like my old couch. I'll have to check to see if I'm missing anything...

Oh dang it! The couch is gone, and I can't find my two revolvers.

Do I have to be a U.S. citizen to join???

Here are my Colt repro's:
Uberti 1851 Navy .36 7 1/2 " barrel.
Armi san Marco .36 Confederate clone repro.
Pietta .44 1851 "Yank"
I have a few more but don't have any decent pictures yet.

Would like to slay a critter or two with it, deer, maybe an elk if I can get close enough, or perhaps a black bear or a buffalo.

Capt,
The whole dang couch is gone... Nothing but a few dust bunnies and a Chiclet that I lost betweent the cushions was left. Why would anyone want to do something like that ?
