Just got back from the get together and had an awesome time.

Wind was blowing pretty hard which was nice cause it kept the heat down.

We had a group of about 15 folks showed up.

Thanks to all for showing up and wasting ALOT of ammo.

Yeeahaw, I'm sunburnt like mofo -- and my shoulder's going to be red and sore for quite a while! I had a great time though, and I think just about everyone did!

That was fun, though I had to lug more ammo home than I expected... guess I have to shoot faster next time!

Lennyjoe with the framed edges due to the dust getting into the lens cover of my camera and not letting it open (felt like a mini Iraqi desert)

Kor's friend, and a lucky shooter who was there when we arrived who got to shoot a whole lot of stuff.

cidirkona, map maker master... ;)

Think we can do it again in 2 or 4 weeks before it starts getting too hot? It's starting to become (baby) crunch time for sumpnz though...

And thanks Lennyjoe, now I have to decide which 10mm I want to get!

I did enjoy shooting all them rifles.

Expecially the Armalite. That was a nice alternative to an AR-15.

Also think Im gonna have to finally put the C&R license to work and get a Mauser.;)

Just got done cleaning up. House smells like Hoppe's.

Had to take a break and grill some T-Bones in the process.

Complete teardown on all weapons were in order due to all the dust blowing around.

I did figure out the trigger hitch on the S&W 10MM. The drawbar plunger spring is worn out. I stretched it a bit and no more click on trigger pull. So I will be ordering a new one tommorrow.

You thought that Mauser was nice to shoot once? Tell them how the Mossy felt;) :what: :neener:

Yea, by then I'll be up to my eyeballs in diapers. April 2 is the due date, but with where we're at now, it could happen at any time :what: .

I can't imagine that I'll be able to make another shoot until mid-May at the earliest. At this point all of my energies will be going into final preparations for the baby (I need to finish making the crib, plus some other stuff with the house).

Had a great time. Too bad the Olympic 8mm ammo didn't work out. But, Miss Kaysa sure seemed to be a hit. Too bad I can't afford a FAL right now.

So is there a sign up list or something ? I'm here in the Benson/Dragoon area and would love to go to the next one. Where did this take place ?

Damn I miss Tucson.

Especially when I see my 8th of the 40th buddy in the pictures. How's it going Phil.

No spontaneous shoots like that in VA.

Regards,

tt

Hah! Howyadoin' Tom? I'm still alive and kicking, as you can see...

Too bad you weren't still in town - we could've warmed the barrels on some of the REALLY NEAT toys you've got!

Enjoy yourself in VA(howzabout that weather, eh?) and try not to get stuck on an ammo pad again...(Guardguardguardguardguardguardguard) ;)

Take care,

Phil

Weather, arrgh. It was 35 degrees when I left for work this morning. At least I wasn't on guard duty.

Hopefully I'll be back in Tucson in a couple of years and we can work on turning money into noise.
