Thanks splattergun & Jim,

Jim, I bought the ball bag at a rendezvous in the 1980's so I can't tell you who made it. It was made by an individual not a company. It's very well made and it always amazes me how a damp cloth cleans it up.

Yer welcome eddie.
And thanx for the info on the bag.
'spect i'll jist hafta git to cuttin on some o' my deer hide and antlers and fashion me one up.
I'm guessin that by the pic and where ya got it that it's made of antler and hide only ?

Thanx Eddie.
But ya know what?
I think i'll combine the three of ;em.
Hide, wood and antler ;)
Maybe even make me up a small medicine band o' mouse skull and chicken claw to hang from it.

the 1858 Remy is my Pistrola of choice, Armi San Paulo/ Euroarms is my maker of choice, with Uberti being the back up supplier.
You can add me to the group. I shoot Remy's both Cap and Ball and Conversion BP.

Old Dragoon and his Hoss

Well I'll try to find my "Wyatt Earp" picture with the Drizabone Duster, used to be on my business cards. A Short, fat old man in character, but still pretty cool. Think I'm going to buy a New Euroarms 58 Remy if they have any left. S&S still have them online for sale.
Never had a new one of any of the ones I had. Missed a ASP 60 Army Yesterday on GB and missed a Centaur 1860 Army as well. So bak to the Remy's. God musta understood I wanted the Remy
Here I am on my Sulphur Mustang Gizmo:

No, no.

You need to post a picture of the GUN, not yourself. Not that you ain't pretty, but, well, Remington New Army revolvers are prettier. Nothin' personal, you understand.

Pictures coming of my new(really new) '58 Remy as soon as she arrives.
Came by the moniker honest. Spent a week at Philmont Scout Ranch as an 1855 Dragoon. Nothing in the whole camp/ outpost(real Dragoon Outpost) newer than 1855. it was a tough week, but one I shall never forget. Hall Rifle Drills, horses . caissons and mountain Howitzers and all. Everyone ought to do this once in their life.

Will try to find picture of my old guns also.

Sign Me Up

Guess I missed this one.

My old $100 Remington...

Shes a shooter and a keeper.

Now that sounds like a good honest/fun way to spend a week Dragoon.
I could REALLY enjoy that.
(If i were 20 years younger ) :)

Good pic, Dragoon; will be even better with the NMA on your hip. And a good lookin' cayuse there as well. Short and skinny little guy, ain't he? I'm guessing some o' that "Middle Eastern" blood in him? Had an Arab for six years and then his health just cr@pped out on him... he was only 20; 'just a kid' for gosh sakes. Found out he had some cow in him; liked to gather and push but NOT rope. Probably the best horse I'll ever ride more than a couple times.
Hope yours lasts a good long time; just don't expect much in the way of "mounted shooting" - horses these days don't take well to big noises behind and above their heads. Took me about 3 minutes (or 5 miles of canal bank, he was QUICK for a long, tall and somewhat broad Arab) to get him settled back down to a trot after just popping a cap - no powder - with my 5-1/2" Pietta NMA. Won't try THAT again unless I'm down in a cliff sided gravel quarry!
