Threatned by my neighbor

I suggest you take most of the suggestions, even though given in good faith, on THR with a grain of salt. I suggest that you get professional legal assistance and pursue these people thru the court system before someone gets hurt and someone winds up in jail........

i agree with the others that suggest game cameras, and to document everything. i also agree with those that suggest trying to buy the property from the current owner, if you cant afford it perhaps get your other neighbors to pitch in to buy the property. that way you can raise the rent on the property and force these people off without resorting to eviction, etc. if you do buy the property, do it as a corporation, and use a P.O. box to receive mail for the corporation. that way you insulate yourself from these people as they cant them blame you for raising their rent, unless they research the corporate papers.

pbearperry How much is a gallon of gasoline in your neck of the woods?

If you are suggesting what it looks like, you really need to get a grip. Setting someones house on fire because you have a dispute with them is seriously messed up. Did you not see that they have a young child?

Hello Mr Warhawk83,I guess I didn't make myself clear enough.Murder is never a solution to overcome an annoyance. However, keeping that in mind,I learned years ago that the courts and Police are unable to control rectumwipes. If this guy escalates, which most likely he will,I would make him think I was just as crazy as he is.If need be,I would run around his pickup with the gas and drop a match.Of course on the QT.People like this guy will only make your life miserable. There are thousands just like him.
These retreads have already shown their playing cards by trespassing with guns in their hands.

And then what happens if HE has security/game cameras out???

sometimes you gotta take out the trash.... WITH LOT AND LOTS OF DOCUMENTATION AND A COURT CASE! lol

when we had problems with people trespassing we put 2 strands of electric fence wire on our split rail fence and hooked it up to a fence charger they stopped pretty quick and kept the dog in the yard better

I'm baffled, amazed, and in awe. I thought young people were the naive ones and yet I'm getting the completely opposition kind of feeling. Anyone who came onto my property, armed and threatening me would never EVER get a second chance to even be associated with much less friends with. Secondly, I think its a terribly sad state how its suggested you are going to have to spend money on the cam, the fence, a lawyer, and so on when your life seemed to be getting on just fine for years. Now two dip****s roll in and you're supposed to dump a bunch a money into dealing with it? Absurdity at its finest. Pull out all the stops you can because its just not right for you to have to bow to their intimidation because they wanna be the neighborhood **** disturbers.

Oh and one last thing....people rapid firing in the middle of the night...really? Some of you would try to befriend them? Sickening.

A quick consultation with a lawyer might not be as expensive as you think. Legal advice is only as good as the person giving it. (hint: do not use the internet as your only source for legal advice).

Every time I have had occasion to use a lawyer, it seemed expensive. A good lawyer can run $300/hour, maybe more. Looking back on all of those instances, paying for legal counsel is some of the best money I've ever spent.

Good luck and keep a cool head.

Setup trail cams. Solid footage of of them being on you property for a lawyer is like blood to a shark. Also you have witnesses to her carrying a firearm on your property, this is an easy one. What I would do is, get the footage, next time there as an issue make her aware you have her on camera on your property, and if she doesn't cool off and stop bothering you your going to take it to a lawyer. BTW what a bunch of idiots living next to you, I feel sorry for you.

Im curious to see how this pans out. Hopefully good. Im the type that would look for consistences in the trespassing. Im a shoot first ask questions later type of guy when it comes to my property and family. If local/state laws permit you to shoot trespassers *especially armed* 3 words... lite em up

i like the idea of cameras. Id go for something that would wirelessly trigger a tv or alarm in the house so you can be notified in an instant especially if they are on foot going to your range.
