Time to order bullets

I've been waiting on Roze for about 3 weeks now. Should come soon though, they said 4-6 weeks. In the meantime, I'm just trying to gather up some brass.

Where do you guys go for cheap, decent, bulk rifle bullets? I'm mostly interested in 30 cal and .224 bullets.

i like raineers to, but they have not been available for a long time. i recently bought a box of dardas cast bullets. but after shooting some of them, i discovered lead in the barrel. i had this problem once before with some no name bullets i bought at a gunshow once. i coated them with liquid alox, and the trouble went away. so that is what i have done with the remainder of these. but i have not shot any since. if you buy cast bullets, just save yourself the trouble, and alox them before you shoot them.

Well I have ordered strait form berry's recently b/c TJ was out. Got mine in 4 weeks. So I guess that's always an option if others are taking that long.

Yep mine were here in 3 weeks, saving $10 bucks is great but waiting months on end sucks. I will pay the extra to shoot earlier, its just money.

Just received a shipment from Berry's. Took 2 months to fill most of the order. They are adding another platting machine to speed things up.

I bought 9mm, .40, and .45 from PD back in Feb. Recieved the .40 and .45 in about a week and the 9mm took 3-4 weeks.

I've been very happy with the bullets and will order from them again when I get low.

Waiting on 147 gr FMJRN-haven't heard JS from them. E-mail or otherwise. What gets me is that everytime I call it's always"We're going to start on 147s' any day now and you're on page one" I've heard this for the last 6 weeks!:cuss::banghead::fire:

In the recent past I have purchased a lot (thousands) of zero brand jacket hollowpoints. They have the best performance in their price range and I have been really happy with them. 38, 44, 45 cal all good.

+1 on casting your own. you can buy everything you need to make your own for about the same cost as 1500 rounds of bullets. then the only thing you will have to buy is lead. so after you hit the 1500 bullet point, your cost of getting bulets goes way, way down. i just ordered a lee melting pot and a few acessories. i will be buying molds next, then a few other expendables.

Ordered 1k 158 gr hollow points from berry's in .357 on the 23rd, recieved them today on the 1st. A week and a couple days is pretty good. I always know when bullets show up, the mail guy falls out of the truck when he gets the package. My office manager called my office and said "You must have bullets arriving" :D
