In light of Remington's recall of their X-Mark Pro trigger I've decided to switch my three 700s to Timney triggers. Every one appears to be sold out of the standard curved trigger but MidwayUSA has the flat ones in stock.

To those of you who have these and have used them, what is your opinion? I placed the standard triggers on my "notify me" list but there's no telling how long it may be till they are back in stock.

No experience with Timney, but I've recently bought and installed the Geissele SD-E which is flat and I love it.
I feel like my trigger finger pressure is applied much more evenly than in a curved trigger.
Just my perception, your experience may vary!
Good luck

Flat ones are very popular with the guys I shoot with. If you want a single stage the timney is a solid choice.

With a flat shoe you do need to have good fundamentals and practice putting your finger where you want it

Round trigger Model 700 in stock at Primary Arms...1.5 to 4 lb adjustable.
