...you cannot stop a grizzly bear charging with a pistol.
Tell that to Garen Brenner who did just that with his 9mm Ruger pistol. I certainly wouldn't volunteer to stop a grizzly charge with a pistol; but it's not impossible--just improbable.
Wyoming G&F now encourages Bow hunters to carry handguns while hunting in Grizz country.
Interesting. What is the source of this information?
These Chemical companies continue to push for no firearms.
Which chemical companies are pushing against the carry of firearms for bear defense and what is the source of this information?
Why not just explain to the members on this forum why you are trying so hard to prove a nebulous point regarding Bear Spray?
So you deny your bias when posting??
Utterly shameless...I hope everyone reading this can see that.
This type of posting is pointless. Everyone has some sort of bias or agenda, that's why it's desirable to settle disagreements with facts.

So when someone makes a claim, they should provide facts to back it. People can then look at the facts and draw conclusions based on the facts rather than trying to settle the argument based on who can post the most, who can change the subject the fastest, who is the most righteously indignant, who can dodge simple questions the longest, etc.
I think he's forgotten he's on a gun forum.
Even on a gun forum, one should consider the possibility that a gun isn't always the best solution for every problem. Just because we all have hammers and like hammers doesn't mean that everything is a nail...

Many residents in California were getting Utah permits and going to other states armed. Utah now requires you to have a resident state permit before they issue.

If i read and interpret below correctly a Calif resident should still be able to get a Utah permit, since Calif does not recognize Utah permits

Non-resident proof of permit. If you reside in a state that recognizes the validity of the Utah CFP or has reciprocity with Utah, you must obtain a CFP or CCW from your home state and submit a copy of it with your application for a Utah permit. For a list of reciprocal states click here. You are considered a resident of whichever state issued your ID. If your state does not recognize the Utah permit this does not apply.

You misunderstand the Laws of the Gold states. Arizonia Akaska all require an NR permit issued by the ressidents state. Read this link.
http://www.azdps.gov/Services/Concealed_Weapons/Reciprocity/

The link you supplied says your wrong. No where in that link does it say a NR permit is required.

Just read the Arizona law. It is clear. I own property in Arizona you don't want get caught without a recognized permit from you resident state.

Again, the link you supplied says you're wrong.

In fact, the link you provided says AZ recognizes all other states' permits.

It's clear ... that you don't understand.

AZ does not require a permit regardless of what state your a resident of.

I also own property in AZ and have lived there for 10 years.

Yes, Utah will issue if your state does not offer a permit. California offers carry permits. You will need a Cakifornia permit before applying for a Utah CC permit.

Sorry but you are wrong on this. I also just reached out to a very reputable CCW instructor here in CA who is qualified and does teach the Utah class as well as doing the fingerprinting requirement. He confirmed that indeed CA is exempt from the code. If you are in CA and don't have a CA permit and wish to obtain a Utah permit you may do so as long as you meet the other criteria of course.

What is the source of this information?

Dog Soldier has been asked several times to provide that but he doesn't.

Conversely, OC Trainer has provided documentation showing him to be incorrect.

As noted above by me, now that Dog Soldier is trying to provide documentation to support other claims, the documentation he links to doesn't support his claims.

This is his pattern, consistently.

He is either not knowledgeable about the subjects or he is intentionally trying to mislead other members.
