1. Any rifle chambered in 20mm

Barret has a 25mm Pay Load Rifle, don't know if it's civilian legal? It will fire several different explosive rounds :) It is quite the site to see, but the hearing part is almost pain full even with softies and muffs.

My #1 would have been the M2 .50 Cal, Machine Gun :) I instruct on it and hear it shoot about every other week, I still love that gun, I'd tell war stories about it shreding nissian pick ups and people... but that wouldn't be very Highroad of me ;)

I don't know where the K31 came from, I'd definetly substitute the M1 Grand. I laughed my butt off though hearing about Swiss Girls... I'm married to a Swiss Girl, who can shoot!

I don't find a GLOCK to be a mans gun, they're a great gun, but not a REAL MANS GUN! Tuperware belongs in the kitchen, not the bed side!

I'd get rid of the Glock and insert either the M60 or MG42... the gun of Rambo, or the WWII German medium machine gun that rated 900 to 1,500 rounds per min... has a distinctive sound and makes you into a tripod when you shoot it ;)

Glad to know where he stands on the 9mm vs. .45acp stance

OK, I'll keep it short. *Any* gun is manly when compared to the anti-gun peoples position on the subject. If you have to carry a gun to be "manly", you may want to take a look in the mirror.:) *But* I'll add the MP44 to my list.

Someone mentioned the .50 Desert Eagle and someone else said something about it being impractical.
Some years back while watching a documentary on Bear attacks there was a great video if an Alaskan Highway Patrolman being chased around and around a couple of stalled cars while frantically pumping rounds into a huge Grizzly that was chasing him, and reloading on the fly. It took him 19 rounds to get the Grizzly off him.
He later showed his new carry gun, a .50 Desert Eagle with plenty of spare magazines.

I admit I skimmed this thread. I didn't want to read six pages just to point out that the 1911 should have obviously been #1.
