selling: I had a Mint 6 inch nickel Python in 1980 that I sold. I still regret that. In fact I sold all my guns over a period of a few years to finance marriage and school. Also in that regretful group: a 6 inch Security Six and a High Standard pump 12 gauge that was in really nice shape.
buying: a Taurus PT22 I bought from a friend’s aging relative seven years ago for too much money. It fell apart immediately but I was the one that made the buy and I sure am not complaining to a nice old lady or my friend. Still in the safe—I can’t really sell it to someone knowing it is just a parts collection masquerading as a firearm. Really all the others, even the ones I didn’t care for and sold, I don’t regret because they taught me things about guns, my preferences, and my abilities (few) and shortcomings (many).
