I have, I got it at Big 5 sporting goods and i was always blown away by how accurate those things were, not to mention Penetration was always impressive.

I actually thought the Blow Dart competition was very cool and far more interesting than the Axe throwing.
I have one too. I don't know what made me think of trying this.....ok, yeah I do. Haha....but I used my air compressor hose with a nozzle on the end to power my blowgun. Talk about penetration! Wow! The dart comes out so fast you can't even see it, and blows through sheets of plywood with ease. I would NOT want to get hit with one that was powered by an air hose! (or anything else, for that matter).

PS - My personal favorite on the show is Chris Reed. He won me over on the first episode when Jay was "interviewing" all of the other contestants to see if they were "good enough" to make his team, and Chris simply said, "I'll take whoever he doesn't want.....everyone here is here for a reason; they're all skilled". I admired that viewpoint and my 11 year old daughter and I always root for him.

I like Chris Reed, too. He's just a good old boy who's grown up with all kinds of weapons. So far, that's really played to his advantage.

Chris Reed is the guy I'm rooting for as well. Redneck, but a very nice guy and well spoken. George just drives me nuts. Really, you went into the Air Force to snipe and you're going nuts because the other guy isn't giving you enough details about his work? The Department of the Navy has churned out more great snipers than your department has churned out arrogant jet jockeys. Most of them are called Marines.

I just checked the official bio, they say he's a "A self-described Jersey Shore guy." What sort of person would willingly associate himself with that show?

Chris Reed seems to be the one overall doing the best so far. Joe is kind of the sleeper in the bunch. Trick shooting with revolvers looks like a lot of fun.;)

.....I have fired in some oddball positions but upside down? Crazy!

Saw Olympic Gold Medalist Kim Rhode shoot trap and skeet upside down.....she would hang legs over her fathers shoulders and break every target.

Met Kim in Vandalia, OH when the national hall of fame trap shoot was going on, but she had two more medals by then. Got to wear all three of those things and dang were they heavy.

On the blowgun with an air compressor thing, I did that with some pipe and paintballs. That was lots of fun too :)

BEST episode yet! That trick shooting was a riot. Everyone looked really good in training, those double fisted double action shots were a scream.

surprised both Ashley and Kyle did so good in the elimination.

I personally would have probably failed at that one due to puke in my eyes.

I was surprised, too. To me, Ashley always seemed like the guy that would fail under pressure. I was impressed when he "manned up" when they were trying to decide who to nominate for the challenge; that was real stand-up of him. I was REALLY happy to see Jay miss all of his shots.....was hoping to see him in the elimination challenge, though. All of those shots they made last night were extremely difficult....especially the first and last stations, I thought.

PS - After seeing the preview for next week, how many of us are going to want one of those old time arcade shooting galleries in our back yards? Hahaha....

EDIT:

Like this one that I saw last fall at the city museum in St. Louis:

Ashley is a Combat Air Controller. They are the AF guys who go in with the Army Paratroopers and front line troops and call in air strikes. I think he can handle the pressure. Keep shootin'

10/22 blasting next week gonna be sweet. thank god kyle is gone. now if we can just lose jay. i cant wait to hear what george has to say about the 10/22's, "i beast wildabeast at 1000 yards with these things all the time"

My wife has cursed the television and has threatened to write the producers if Jay wins the entire thing.

Early on, I was thinking Jay was getting the best of beginner's luck, and perhaps he still is seeing that each show is a different platform, but either this is ridiculous or the showrunners are putting on a great drama.

Is anyone going to beat Jay? He may not be the most liked but he sure does handle the pressure well. Lets see how he handles the Barrett next week.

In all honesty, I'm excited to see how the competition compares to George with the M82A1.....and I'm ready to see Jay go home.

Well, I told my wife if Jay wins the whole thing, I won't watch season 3. I'm pretty bummed out that Daryl got kicked off. I think I'm going for Joe Serafini now.
