While I don't care for the drama and the editing that creates it, nor do I care much for the over-all setup of the show, but I really like some of the shooting events.
The question to ponder is how much commercial interest there would be in setting up events like that for YOU to shoot. Some of them would be a little difficult to stage, but how much would you personally pay to go and shoot the same type setups they have there?
I would really enjoy shooting some of the moving target setups. I don't find money as much of a big deal for a good time. I would pay $50-75 to bring my own equipment and ammo to shoot some of those setups for an hour or two. While I haven't really researched much into the cost for manufacturing the setups, there has to be an appropriate cost for the setup and the inevitable damage to the setups that would occur.
Kind of like the "why don't you do cowboy action shooting?" threads, but without the dressing up, and what you would pay for someone else setting it up for you.
I enjoy target shooting. I enjoy moving and reactive target shooting more, and I would be willing to pay for someone else to set it up and run it. I'm just wondering what others think. Think of it as a county fair solely dedicated to shooting.
The one that I think I most liked was the elimination match a week or two ago where there were targets covered by moving plates with only a short time to score hits.
Just curious about what other forum members think.
