my local shop charges $100, a guy came in last week who wanted to get some used rifle from an online auction for $600 IIRC and the guy explained that he needed to make money, it's his buisness, and if you don't like it get your own ffl. (every shop in the area charges about that) Then he asked what rifle, said I've got two of those let me go get them from the back. Sold the guy one NIB (old inventory) for about $450. THe guy was more than happy, he saved money anyway and the local shop made money. He'll get me anything I want C&R, used, whatever, I'd rather give him my buisness than the big-box stores.
His policy for C&R guns is that of it breaks or doesn't work right bring it in and he'll work something out (often fix it or replace it for as little as possible, often free)
