Hey guys. Bought my first pistol about a month ago, G19. Factory NIB. Put about 300 rounds through it. I took it out today to go to the range, and before I left, I noticed that the pin in the trigger had come halfway out. I don't know exactly what that pin does, I suspect it holds the little trigger safety thingy in place. If holding the gun right handed, the pin is on the left side of the trigger, basically dead center.
And it was protruding halfway out of the trigger! Wth?! I'm scared if it does it again and pops up the gun will be inoperable. Its already unreliable IMO because of this, and I'm really upset. I'm a glock fan, so this does not make me hate glocks, I just must have gotten a lemon.
No I wasn't using hot rounds.
So, what should I do? How do I replace this? Is it really a problem? And if it needs repair, do I have to send it to glock or will they send me the part? If I have to send it, what is their turnaround time normally?
Thanks everybody for the help!
