ive read in other forums that either one of these powders can cause pressure
spikes and or higher velocitys ,
but im not sure if there answers were true or just biased since they are die
hard goex and swiss powder lovers :D

and since im after a 32.cal traditions crockett rifle
i figured that i might need some powder
but the only thing that i can find arround is pyrodex or tripple 7
will these work ?
i would order it but the 20.00 hazmat fee and min. order amount has kept me
away from that

any and all info is needed
thanks all

I am shooting 777 in my Walker revolver. Basically the documentation recommends a 15% lower volume for the Triple Seven than you'd use with
BP or the other alternatives. I found that 15% to be about right.

I like the stuff, it cleans up very easily and I've had no problems at all.

I find that H777 does work well with reduced charges and sometimes provides very wide velocity ranges(including very high velocities) when loaded volume for volume and compressed to any significant degree. Pyrodex P generally gives higher velocities than goex (though not in every case) and usually comes closer to swiss 3fg when loaded to the same volume.

I use Pyrodex P in my .32cal TC Cherokee with execellent results. Havent tried Triple7 because no one locally carries it in the FFFg grade, which is what you want for anything smaller than .45cal.

I tried real BP in the form of Goex FFFg, accuracy was about the same as I get with PyrodexP but the fouling was worse with Goex than Pyrodex.
