In truth, I am always rather pleased when incompetant attorneys bring idiotic suits. Sort of. It is a burden for the defendant that they have to pay for a defense, but when stupid suits get shot down in flames in a public courtroom, it's MUCH more effective than the idiot plaintiff just being quietly turned away by every legitimate attorney he approaches.
The real shame is that Hanson's attorney will probably get paid. I only hope the insurance company for the sellers don't settle out of court on the basis that it'll be cheaper than defending the suit in court.
