Trouble ordering ammo in IL

Placed an order for shot shells with brownells. She writes back, my FOID card expires 6/1. Since the ammo wont arrive before 6/1 she cant sell it. I explain that I did my renewal, but haven't recieved the new card yet. I looked at ISP website, they say because covid no cards coming anytime soon. But all current cards remain valid.
She had me fwd my renewal confirmation email to her. I also submitted my CCL which is valid til 2024.
Waiting for her response.

Just great... So I decided to move elsewhere and own guns again, I will have to wait quite awhile to get my FOID Card? So what current firearm owners who's FOID expired but waiting on new FOID suppose to do with their guns in the meantime?

Also from IL, may be worthwhile to email the of requirements for FOID vs CCW permit. As its much harder to get the CCW. FWIW

Some poor lady at Brownell’s has a checklist that she has to complete. Send her the renewal receipt and she can tick the box.

There are people that come over from your area all the time into indiana and Michigan. Have it shipped to one of those states

We all know why there are restriction on Ammo purchase in IL, Now we all have to suffer some the ignorance of some.

Did our State tighten restrictions on ammo purchases? Geeze all I do was show FOID card and hand over money...

I would submit something online to them to show you tried and also leave a written trail.
