I'll be looking forward to the Berdan 7.62x39 Primers. If/when they come available from Tula.

Tula, wolf and Murom are manufactured by same company in Russia. The company is called Murom. In my opinion these primers are as good as can be the cci, etc.
I have never a problem and the price is better than others.
Greetings from Spain.

What happened to buy American...? for love of God and Country I shall pay more to support our "way of life"! ... hah.. sell outs!

i buy american but is it ok for american companies to stick it to us? So far alliant is the only one that seems loyal to us - check out shotgun world where they are the only ones that interact with thier customers.

I've shot a bunch of that Tula ammo (got it really cheap) and it ran fine. If it isn't Wolf, I can't tell the difference because the quality and materials seem the same. I've also shot through a bunch of Wolf primers with no problems. I bought most of that stuff when the supply was really low. When no one had any primers at all around here, I walked into a shop while they were opening their deliveries (really lucky at the time) so I took what I could get. When availability became good again I switched back to CCI. The difference in price is pretty much non-existent. I actually paid less for the CCI than I did for the Wolf because of the timing. I have nothing against the Wolf stuff though because it ran just fine. I actually still have some Wolf primers kicking around and I'll use them up when I get to em.

Tula SUCKS! My AR15 HATES Tula ammo with a passion.
I can shoot all day long without problems using any ammo in brass cases.

But I tried Tula cuz it was $3.49 a box. What a waste of money.
I usually get 3-4 FTEs with every 20 round magazine.

I wouldn't cross the street to get free Tula anything!
If it works for you - you can have it.

I have used about 1000 wolfs in LR, LRM & LP. In 1000 I had one failure to fire in the large pistol. When comparing the large rifle wolf's to Remington, I get the same accuracy but have to use about 1% more propellant with the Remington's to achieve the same results.

I too have found the wolfs fit tighter, but that fit hasn't caused a problem. Also, the wolfs have a thicker cup over the remington's.

That's really your gun being picky, not the ammo (unless you got a bad run of out of spec ammo or something). That ammo runs fine in the multiple ARs I've shot it through and I have a friend who bought stacks of it when it was $3.49/20 and it runs in all of his too. It's not great ammo but it goes bang every time for me. Anyone who has this stuff and hates it, feel free to send it all to me! :D My AR seems to eat anything and everything. I'll admit that for store bought stuff it's still pretty economical to buy the PMC brass @ ~$6/20 or so which is usually what I do. That PMC isn't bad stuff at all for the money though.

I actually have seen more problems with that crappy Remington UMC (obvious manufacturing defects that I would never fire through any gun) than I've had in Tula. Yikes!

Whenever possible, I try to support "Made In USA" products. Believe me, I would have paid a lot more to buy my preferred Winchester primers if they were available last year. Now that Winchester primers are available again, it's happy days again and I am stocked back up. :D

Ok, back to OP. With my latest group order from Powder Valley, we added some TulAmmo LP primer to try out (some in the group were desperately low on LP primer and didn't wanted to spend more on separate order with HazMat/S&H charges from another vendor). On the box, it's marked "Non-Corrosive" and "Made in Russia" - same as Wolf. The color of bright brass cup is same as Wolf and even the primer compound color is the same (peach color).

The comparison range test between Wolf and TulAmmo LP primers resulted in same shot groups, felt recoil and spent case ejection. As far as I can tell, they are the same exact primers. There was no primer failure to ignite. As to Wolf LP, I have not had a single failure to date after 6000+ rounds (fortunately from what I read, I am glad I did not buy any Wolf SP primers last year ).
