Why is he bending the lever that way and does the artist think the rifle is a “twice barreled carabine?”

Edit: Looks like Ugly Sauce thinks the way I do… my condolences… but that should teach me to read the entire thread before posting a response. Should, I say, probably won’t…

the Gun Came in today!!! and I’m very happy, definitely not hand engraved but very nicely done! here some iPhone photos. I don’t think we need macro photography.

it locks up very tight! and much darker then I thought, and that’s a great thing. i

again $448! lol

Thanks for the pics. Definitely looks different than the midway close-up pic with the obvious hand-cuts along the floral curves in the cylinder, for example. Still a nice looking hogleg.

it’s the photographer style they use. We use to do it when I did commercial photography. A mix of white reflections board and black board. It creates a deep shadow look. But the gun is very black, and not as showy. I like it a that way, Dark with accents

Very, very nice! Congrats! Kind of reminiscent of the engraved ones made by E.N. Santa Barbara around 50 years ago.
You like a dark and low key gun too?

my holster should be coming in soon. I’m going to carry it left side strong and on my right side a 1873 10mm.
