We have our own NRA. And they are useless, all they were concerned about during the 2 bans (post Michael Ryan, centre fire semi auto, post Dunblane, pistols) was ensuring that bolt action target rifles weren't touched.
We have several organisations, but they all seem to be pretty self serving
BASC- British association for shooting and conservation. mostly country sports orientated
CPSA- Clay pigeon shooting association, self explanatory...
Countryside alliance- country sports again
UKPSA- UK practical shooting association, not that practical, quite rigid in what they teach/ allow
