Long story short I'm at the end of my patience with my 3# jard adjustable trigger. The reoccurring problem is if I adjust the thing to be a good trigger (by the book) the reset is so short the rifle will bump fire when shot from the bench. I can stop it from doing so only by adding lots of sear engagement and overtravel resulting in a caulking gun like trigger.
Any experienced this issue or know of any possible fixes aside from ripping
it out and hitting it with a hammer? And I dint mean the kind that strikes a firing pin.
Just to clarify the rifle is NOT doubling! The hammer passes all function checks and the disconnecter is dragging slightly on the hammer WITHOUT the trigger being pulled.
