Do any of you have any unique collections? I've long been considering building a collection of Axis flags and rifles. I've also been considering an Assassins Collection. Both would make for some interesting conversations.

If you do, I'd love to see some pictures or hear your own ideas.

I collect various rubber chickens, odd colored hairs from my beard, and unusual nuts bolts and nails, also different objects removed from tires.

I collect dead animals and hang them on the walls....

Got a few guns but nothing I'd call a unique collection.

I once met a man from Nebraska who collected jack in the boxes and owl pellets.

seriously though, I haven't reached a point yet where my collection has taken any direction other than usefulness, personal preference. The closest I've come is a few different variations of the SKS. I guess that's the most logical direction to go, as there are sooo many different versions, the prices are reasonable, and I could collect for an entire lifetime and never complete it.

I apologize in advance, but I just can't help myself.

I collect unique rabbits.

Know how you catch a unique rabbit?

Unique up on it.

I also have some tame rabbits.

Know how you catch a tame rabbit?

Tame way.

Once again, let me express my regret for the foolish frivolity.

"I once met a man from Nebraska who collected jack in the boxes and owl pellets."

And here I thought I was the eccentric one!!!

I don't know about unique, but I've been working up a reference collection of firearms, knives, swords, bows, and arrows. Maybe because I'm a librarian, I dunno. Anyway, for firearms, I'm getting one of each major configuration of civilian-legal type (as well as multiples of types that I find that interest me), one of each style of sword, one of each style and material of knife, ditto for bows, and I'm working on collecting variations of hunting and war arrows of all types. Some are reproductions, of course, but who cares!

At one time I did collect guns, now I collect ammo. I hope to someday collect guns again.

I do have a pretty good collection of WWII military ammo, Mostly U.S. and German stuff, along with ammo pouches and bayonets for all my military surplus stuff.

Refrigerator magnets. My safe is covered with them. Stuck a couple of neat ones on one day, and it just kept going.

In addition to the significant number of AK's I have collected, I also have most of the web gear to go with them and uniforms from over 350 countries from around the world. They are all camo, from WWII to present.

Pyle, I would love to see a pic of your uniform collection. That is pretty cool. Same with Walkalong's magnet collection on his safe.

When I first got my C&R I set out to collect an example of a Main Battle Rifle from each of the major powers in WWII, it was fun, and I thought of augmenting it with a flag from each nation and perhaps helmet, but instead I decided to keep on collecting (and shooting ;) ) guns.

I collect tea cups; I accumulate handguns.

I buy antique or unusual china tea cups with the intention of putting them on display and admiring them from a safe distance (God help the first person who pours tea into one of my cups!).

But guns, like lost puppies, just seem to follow me home. And, like puppies, they want to be played with. I humor them.
