Do you have sub-sets in your gun collection?

My 1076 came from a Federal Agent...unfortunately NOT an FBI gun though.

Came with 8 mags, some replacement mag/recoil springs, several of the new mag followers, a few extra sets of grips, spare sights, and an assortment of factory ammo...about 500 rds. I paid way less than $850 too. Sometimes You get LUCKY.

1000 series guns were ALL solid $1k guns several months ago. For some reason the majority of the gun market is soft right now. Good time to pick up a few bargains. I was tempted by the 1006 w/4 mags. But kept myself in check. LOL.

Yeah I have sub-sets.

Those that are heirlooms and will be with me if I'm living in a cardboard box.....
The ones that I really really really love.
the ones that I like but am not in love with
the ones I'd part with to go get a different gun
the problem children that may still have issues but have dreams of refining
and the ones I'd gleefully part with but my conscience won't let me pass the problem to somebody else.

In handguns I do big/ little in each platform, two in DA/SA semi-auto, two S/A revolver, two DAO semi, only 1 striker so far.

Don’t know if that qualifies for subsets.

No.

I don't know that I own enough guns for the word "collection" to be meaningful.

I certainly don't have $80,000 to spend on a collection of anything.

Smith and Wesson vintage revolvers and used Rossi revolvers. I have several various CZs but don't consider them a collection as I didn't buy them with that in mind Every thing else is accumulated not collected

1911's, .22 rifles, AR's. Multiples guns in each category, each set up for a specific task. a couple 1911's for CCW, one for a range toy, a game gun, etc.

And much as other have said, I didn't set out to make an organized collection. It's just stuff I like and have a use for.
