"Unique" feeding problem

Hi, I recently bought a French "Unique" pistol in .25 ACP from my friend. It's the cutest little thing but the base of the cartridges somehow overlap in the magazine and get stuck. They are difficult to get out. It usually happens on the second round but could happen to any of them. What can I do about this? When it doesn't happen it is actually fun to shoot. Thanks, Jeff

Rim lock is generally regarded as a .32 ACP issue, but it can happen to other cartridges as well.

Are you using hollowpoints or FMJ? If HP, try just switching to FMJ first.

Wow, thanks alot. That's exactly what is happening. After looking at the ballistic tests I think I'll try FMJ. If they work that's what I'll use. I was using Speer Golddots.
