I saw this unusual K-31 they are going to auction off at classic arms. Looks like some type of competition K-31 although it is missing the front sight insert.

Bidding starts at $350 and ends on the 26th.

Whoever owned the rifle before participated in a lot of Swiss shooting contests, thats what those stickers are for.

Has better sights on it to, not sure what kind I'm not enough of a k31 expert to tell at a glance.

Not too hard to do the research, wonder why they didn't
A single post at the swissrifles forum would get them a very good estimate of its real world value.

Front sight is useless without a.) the insert, b.) the corresponding rear sight - its too tall to use the stock sights. If the gun is true P-series, from the factory with a P serial #, then its worth about $500-$600, maybe a bit less. Good pics of the stock would help them sell it, as the P's I've seen have nice walnut stocks and are usually in better condition than the milsurps.
