    SOUNDS GREAT!

    Sign Me UP!

May I suggest we do Screened and Embroidered Shirt, hats, etc., for the event?

    A Themed Logo Perhaps?

[IMG] Here is one example...(if you click on the thumbnail, you will see the RED THING in the middle of the reticle is the NM Enchanted Eye)...

    Or THIS ONE???

the yellow is sweet, I like it!

it's like a modern "don't tread on me" flag....what was that called anyway?

    May I suggest...

The yellow logo is sweet, but somewhere it needs to be mentioned that this is the national get together.

Its just being held in NM.

Maybe "1st Annual TheHIGHROAD.org National Rendezvous (or Get Together), then "New Mexico 2007"

    How about this? [IMG]

BTW - there Really is no such thing as a 1st Annual event... it is not an Annual event until it has been repeated at least once...

The proper syntax for a First Annual Event is to Omit the '1st Annual' part...

you include '2nd Annual' (and so on) after the First one has concluded...

I do not mean to be legalistic here (please don't flame me for trying to publish something correctly) - I happen to consult for folks and this is a commonly mis-used title...

We can do whatever you wish... I just thought you might like to have it correct the first time out...

Please let me know what you think...

I like it but I think it would look cleaner and read smoother if you dropped annual

    www.TheHighRoad.org

    symbol

    1st National
    Rendezvous
    New Mexico 2007

Or Whittington Center in place of New Mexico

I just think it is cleaner without the annual basically and if the first part of the addy was lowercase or smaller print www instead of the and then HighRoad in larger type, just looks a little off to me personally. Looks great just some constructive thinking :)

If "1st Annual" doesn't sound right, then perhaps "Inaugural" would work.

Anyway, the whole family is up for this one. Three NRA Members here. Our son did a two week youth adventure camp there in June and had a total blast.

    I 2nd 1st

    National!

It'll keep the unintiated guessing...now about the yellow "Don't Tread On Me" flag....what was that called anyway?

What type of events shall we have? We seem to have some writers and comedians and musicans...can we have a talent show?
I have a joke or two to tell.

city boy: "hey Mr farmer, where does that road go"?
farmer: "I been here 53 years and it aint gone no where yet":D

    Bank Update

The only national bank in my area and around Whittington is Bank of America. BoA is very fee intensive unless you meet certain requirments which we will not.

I am planning on opening a new account at my local bank. They are fee free and easy to use.

I'll get with Larry and the crew and figure out deposit info and post more later.

If anyone has any objections or concerns let me know.

Sounds like fun and its just up the road from me here in El Paso Texas. Guess I better sign up with the NRA. Just wondering how many other women will be there. I ask because I'm new to the sport and I don't see very many at our local range.

Actually, I'd shoot for 75% NRA, in case of no-shows.

I can't positively commit to coming, but I am NRA. Put me down as an "NRA maybe".

    Count me in.
I am an NRA Life Member.
Anyone from Las Vegas or anyone between Las Vegas and Raton that want's a ride, let me know. If the airport is between Las Vegas and Raton, let me know and I can pick some people up. If you need ammo or something hauled there that you don't want to put on a plane, we might be able to work something out.

    Are machine guns allowed ?
    I will be bringing suppressors.

444--and anyone else--contact Whittington Center, directly, about what's okay and what's not, and/or their rules.
