I will restate what I stated earlier:

Calling the police is a double-edged sword. If you already have a record (as this guy did), and you just used an unregistered weapon to defend yourself, careful thought should be given as to the consequences of making that call.

Don't bother copying and pasting the same nonsense to rebut me, do the research and see for yourself that he has not been tried or sentenced. The headlines say he "faces" three years. Yep, faces, if convicted.

Looks like a textbook case of yellow journalism. When he goes to trial (or takes a plea), we can relook this one.
