The whole point in painting the gun, is to break its outline and appearance.
The pattern doesnt necessarily need to be appropriate to the environment, or even the cammies, or whatever your wearing for it to be effective or work either. It just has to take away or disrupt the outline of the gun.
As with anything, you also have to use a little common sense too.
What you will see, and in pretty much any environment, compared to an unpainted gun, the painted gun will still distract/confuse the brain, at least to some extent.
Of couse, youre always going to have those who will resist and balk at the idea, or believe it works, but thats to be expected. Hey, whatever. Actually using something in the field to know, usually makes the believers and changes minds. Only one way to find out.
