Noticed a couple guns in the local paper. I can't register at GunBroker because I don't have an ISP email address. Anyway, here's the 2 guns.

1.
Pistol 9MM - Beretta, 3-15rd. clips, 3-in-1 holster, extra's, $425

2.
Ruger Acusport - Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum, SS/4 3/4 barrel, Like New, $350/offer

Both word for word from paper. I'm assuming the Beretta is the 92FS and I could probably find one of the "blemished" ones new for that price, so it probably isn't worth it. As for the Ruger, I've been wanting a wheel gun for a while now, because I think everybody needs atleast 1 wheel gun in their collection. I know next to nothing about them.

Most of the Acusport Rugers were 5 1/2" Bisley models. A 4 5/8" SBH is a standard catalogued item.

you know the Blackhawk is single action, right ?

Not a bad thing in a hunting rig, nor for targets, nor for cowboy shooting. You just have to remember to cock the hammer every time you want to shoot! But some prefer double action, especially if you're thinking this will do double duty for self-defense. That said, the Ruger SBH is a great gun.

A new SS/SBH cost 487.00 where I live. I know prices tend to be a little higher here than everywhere else but if it is actually "like new" it doesn't seem like a bad deal IMO.

Get the Ruger!!

The Blackhawk made for Acusport features a 5 1/2 barrel and a Bisley grip frame and all are SS. These commonly go for $525-$600 on GB both used and new. This years run is in 45ACP/45LC so no more new 44's coming down the pike anytime soon. So scoop that baby up, worst you could do is make a few bucks on it if you decided it wasn't right for you.
